What is the cancellation policy?
Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment, which includes a $100 non-refundable deposit. All cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the camp start date may receive a refund minus the $100 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the camp start date are non-refundable.
You may request to switch to a later camp date up to 14 days prior to your camp start date, subject to availability. If space is available, the switch will be made at no penalty. If switching to a higher-priced camp, the difference in fees must be paid in full at the time of the switch. If a switch is completed to a lower-priced camp, a $50 administrative fee will be applied and the remaining difference will be issued as an account credit, valid for use by the registered participant or any member of their immediate family during the 2026/27 Velocity Complex season. Account credits expire April 30, 2027 and have no cash value. If no space is available for the requested switch, the original cancellation policy applies and no refund will be issued. Please note that switching weeks does not alter the original refund policy — if you subsequently cancel after switching, the same terms apply based on your original enrolment date, and the $100 deposit remains non-refundable.
In the event of a medical emergency or serious illness preventing a participant from attending, a refund minus the $100 non-refundable deposit may be issued if Velocity Complex is able to fill the vacated spot. Documentation from a physician will be required. If the spot cannot be filled, the amount paid minus the $100 non-refundable deposit will be issued as an account credit, valid for use by the registered participant or any member of their immediate family during the 2026/27 Velocity Complex season. Account credits expire April 30, 2027 and have no cash value. All medical exception requests must be submitted in writing via email to Velocity Complex at least 24 hours prior to camp start date to be eligible for a refund or account credit.
All cancellation and switch requests must be submitted in writing via email to Velocity Complex. Requests will not be accepted verbally or by phone. The date the written request is received will be used to determine eligibility under this policy.
Camp registration fees and account credits issued from camp registrations cannot be transferred or applied toward summer evening class registration fees.
Velocity Complex reserves the right to dismiss a participant at any time for behavioural reasons, including but not limited to conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to staff or other participants. No refund or account credit will be issued in the event of a dismissal for behavioural reasons.
No refunds or pro-rating will be issued for partial week attendance, regardless of timing or circumstance.
How does pricing work for evening classes?
Summer sessions are offered at reduced rates — a great way to experience our classes before the regular season begins. Sessions are not prorated for missed classes. Registering for a session guarantees your spot, as class sizes are strictly capped. Drop-in spots may be available at a higher per-class rate, depending on availability.
