Our certified instructors combine professional experience with heart—creating a space where students feel supported, challenged, and celebrated at every stage. We coach with care and purpose, helping students set goals, take a smart and safe approach to their training, and learn to trust themselves.

Candace is a passionate performing arts educator with a background in dance and gymnastics, who naturally gravitated to acro dance. With more than a decade of experience as a coach and choreographer, Candace creates a safe and nurturing environment where all athletes can excel. Balancing athleticism and artistry, Candace’s programming provides innovative opportunities in Edmonton’s acro community.

Coach

Avery is a performer and instructor based in Edmonton. She is passionate about sharing her love of acro and circus. She performs as a contortionist in and around the city and has had the opportunity to appear at events like the SkirtsAfire Festival, St. John’s International CircusFest, and in the two-time Sterling Award nominated show The Great, Great Spiegel Spectacular. Avery has so much love for dance and circus and she’s always excited to share her experience with others!

Coach 

Kathryn is a dancer born, raised, and trained in Edmonton. Kathryn fell in love with dance when she was three years old. Starting at the Edmonton School of Ballet she trained in ballet, jazz and tap as well as Ukrainian dance with the Shumka School of Dance. She later moved to Dance Alberta where she expanded her knowledge and added lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre to her training. Kathryn also trained in London, England at Pineapple Dance Studios and Trinity Laban Conservatory for Music and Dance. It was this opportunity where she expanded the knowledge that she now brings to her classes. She has been teaching dance for nine years and takes her love of teaching into elementary classrooms.

Julia’s passion for dancing  started at the age of two. She has studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, tap, acro, hip hop, pointe, modern, and ballroom. 

Julia is excited to share her love of acro and aerial with her students and give them confidence to succeed inside and outside of the studio.

After starting dance at age two, Kiley knew it was her thing. She helped teach numerous dance classes for eight years starting at age ten. After 15 years as a competitive dancer, she was grateful for the opportunity to dance in Disney World, New York, and on a cruise ship. Miss Kiley started her teaching career in 2023 and has loved every minute of it! Dance has always been a huge part of her life, and she is grateful to be able to share her passion with her students.

Cheri is a retired air traffic controller and mother of three active athletes. She has been a dance mom, soccer mom, hockey/goalie mom, wrestling mom, track and field mom, and more. Cheri understands the demands placed on dedicated sport athletes and their families. She is familiar with sport-specific training, the importance of cross-training and proper nutrition, and the need for balance across all aspects of sport and life. Cheri loves helping acrobats, dancers, and athletes of all ages and levels achieve their goals. She looks forward to enhancing and supporting the vibrant dance and sport community in and around Edmonton.
